Hey Lindsey - I got all excited yesterday evening because I was out doing one of my training runs on the C&O towpath and was blown away in an almost "I just spotted a celebrity!!" kind of way. I recognized you running in the opposite direction just tearing it up at a blazing speed. I was wearing a dark blue shirt with a yellow M (go Michigan!) and sunglasses on a noticeably unsunny friday afternoon. The "celebrity sighting" took place just after the boat launch/picnic area right by where a large tree had fallen over the trail into the water, but had been cut so as to allow people to run through on the trail.
Anyway, I was super excited after following your blog here for the last few months as I prepare for my first triathlon (DC tri) and wanted to let you know that I busted my ass for the rest of the run because of that excitement. See you around on the trails! -Sean
That's awesome. Perseverance babay. Just.keep.doing.

ReplyDeleteSlandy, looks like you could benefit from running twice a day too. :)
